The Laeva stop lies on the Vanasadam tram line, on the boundary between the port area and the city centre. From the stop it is a short walk both to the port terminals and to the Rotermanni kvartal.
The stop is served by line T2. The area has changed rapidly in recent years: former port land has gained new offices and apartment buildings, and the tramway arrived here in 2024.
Towards the city centre the next stop is A. Laikmaa, by the Viru keskus.
