The A. Laikmaa stop sits beside Viru väljak, between the Viru keskus and the Hotel Viru. The stop belongs to the Vanasadam tram line and is served by line T2.

A couple of hundred metres away are Tallinn’s largest city-centre shopping mall, the hub for local bus routes at the bus station, and the Old Town’s Viru värav. The stop is named after the street named for the artist Ants Laikmaa.
