Suur-Paala stop — Lasnamäe · Paala
Suur-Paala is the easternmost point of the tram network and the terminus of line T6. The stop has a tram turning loop.
Until the summer of 2026, lines 2 and 4 ran here. From 1 August 2026 both are diverted to the airport, and the Suur-Paala connection is taken over by the new line T6, which runs from Kopli via Hobujaam straight here. This was a long-held wish of North Tallinn residents — you can now reach Lasnamäe from Kopli without changing.
Around the stop are commercial and warehouse buildings and bus connections to upper Lasnamäe and towards Ülemiste.

T6 runs from Suur-Paala to Kopli without a change — that is the main point of the new line, and it saves about ten minutes compared with the earlier change in the city centre.

From the end of August 2026, line T6 (Kopli – Hobujaam – Suur-Paala). Previously lines 2 and 4 ran here, which were diverted to the airport.
When the tram connection to the airport reopened on 1 August 2026, T2 and T4 were routed there. The new line T6 was created to keep the Suur-Paala connection.
Take T6 to Majaka põik and change there to line T2 or T4. About 15 minutes in total.
