Line T5 connects Kopli with the Vana-Lõuna terminus in the Veerenni area. The route passes through Balti jaam, the northern gate of the Old Town, Viru and Vabaduse väljak, then turns south at the Vineeri stop.
T5 is the network’s least frequent line: the tram departs about every 18–20 minutes and services end earlier than on the other lines — the last departure is at about 22.20. If you are travelling late in the evening, it is worth considering a bus or another line.
