Balti jaam stop — Kesklinn · Balti jaam

Balti jaam is Tallinn’s main railway station, from which Elron trains depart to Tartu, Narva, Pärnu, Viljandi, Paldiski and Keila. The tram stop is beside the station building, so changing from train to tram takes a couple of minutes.

Opposite the station is the Balti jaam market — a three-storey market building with stalls of food, crafts and second-hand goods, which in recent years has become one of Tallinn’s most popular places to visit. The Old Town begins about a five-minute walk from the station.

The stop is served by lines T1, T2, T5 and T6. It is one of the busiest stops on the network.
