Hobujaama stop — Kesklinn · Rotermann

Hobujaama is the most important interchange on Tallinn’s tram network: lines T1, T3, T4 and T6 all stop here. The stop is named after the 19th-century horse-tram station that once stood here — the start of Tallinn’s tram service in 1888 was in fact a horse tram.

The stop is near the junction of Narva maantee and Ahtri tänav, between the Rotermanni kvartal and the Admiraliteedi bassein. Routes branch from here: T1 and T3 head to Kadriorg, T4 and T6 towards Lasnamäe.

The surroundings include the Rotermanni kvartal, the Foorum centre and several large office buildings. The Old Town’s Viru värav is about a five-minute walk away.
